Highlights

The first production release of the rebuilt course app, after the 2026 overhaul — see The 2026 overhaul for the full story of what changed and why. Course content (the Diploma in Theology curriculum) was imported from the content repository: levels, modules, lessons and their PDFs.

Features

• Levels, modules and lessons, unlocked in order as admins grant access; completing every lesson in a level is a permanent milestone.
• Assignments and grading, with a full history of attempts, grader feedback and returns for revision.
• Progress and risk indicators for staff, nudges, and announcements and notifications delivered by email and in-app.
• Accounts created only by staff, with four roles (student, faculty, admin, superadmin) and a one-time temporary password.
• Private file storage for lesson PDFs and submissions, downloaded only through an authorised, time-limited link.

Fixes

This release is the result of a full review of the previous version of the app; every issue that review found was fixed or otherwise resolved before this release — see The 2026 overhaul for the complete list.

Operations

All earlier development migrations were replaced by a single baseline migration. On its first production deploy, the site ran briefly behind a temporary sign-in prompt until the default superadmin password was changed and the course content was imported.

None — this is the first release.
